Cricket, was My Religion some time Back

I never thought before, that I would be so far from World Cup. I understand, I lost my interest over Cricket. It was my religion few years before. Still remember those days at Bharathidasan and Bharathi Hostels.

Gone are those days, when we used to watch the matches keeping in the mind that we have(had ???) Internals the next day.

Could any body of us forget the charm we had when Sachin hit those Sixes and fours on Aktar's Balls.

Could any body of us forget the silence, when he got out at 96(if I remember).

Gone are those days, when we burnt the teams Stills and Posters followed by its miraculous performance against Australia.


And Now, I feel the total thrill is lost some where. I suppose I will not be getting it back again.
